Travis Webber is tackled by Hal Teja for the Nippers and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Olympians show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

Peter Jackson opts to kick here for the Olympians. He's trying to Kick downfield. A decent kick downfield yields a territorial gain of 22 metres. That's a great kick over the head of Kao. It bounces infield and the Olympians' line is quickly up as Kao gathers.


Koal Kao with the ball on the run here, 22m from the halfway line in Nippers' territory. He's moving sideways at the moment in the face of a good defensive line. He lets off an awful pass in the tackle. He's knocked it on and the two sides will pack down a scrum. Time for the KFC eaters to get down and dirty.

Scrum to the Olympians. The Olympians have turned the scrum through 90 degrees. Absolutely great stuff there from the big boys!

The ball comes quickly to Flack as the ref plays advantage. Flack spreads the ball to Alessi. Alessi passes to Tait. Tait cuts out Webber and finds Farhat with a precise pass. Farhat runs and breaks through a weak tackle from Wayne.

Incredible stuff here! He's burst through the defensive line and he's on the run. Ali Farhat looks like he's going to make it all the way. Yes, he touches down in the corner. A great run of 27 metres. TRY!!

The Olympians decide to have a crack at goal. A great connection for Dion Alessi there and he secures the 3 points.

Ginger Furball is tackled by Alej Parero for the Olympians and the ruck forms. The ruck is contested but Ginger Furball has been penalised by the referee for not releasing the ball.

Alessi kicks for touch, 19 metres in front of halfway. Great kick. That finds touch 15 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out.

Easy take there for the Olympians. The ball is secured easily at the rear of the line-out by Dave Cowie. Cowie runs at the defensive line and gains 8 before being brought down. He spots the ball there for Downes to scoop up swiftly and easily.

Charlie Downes with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 8 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Cobra Classified but Downes blasts through the weak tackle and dots over to the right of the posts.

There's a bit of interference here by the Olympians at the line out. An interesting call by the referee. That'll be a penalty to the Nippers

The Nippers decide to kick for touch, only 23m away from the try line. A great kick there. That finds touch 11 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out.

Easy take there for the Nippers. The ball is secured easily by Zinzan Brumby. A maul forms, but only gains a couple of metres. The Olympians have stopped the Nippers gaining easy yards here. The ball comes out on the Nippers side and the ball is spun down towards the backs.

The ball is passed out to Ginger Furball. There's an overlap here, only Alessi in cover. It looks like he's going to be tackled by Dion Alessi but he jumps over Alessi's despairing dive, NFL style and keeps on running.

Too easy for Furball in the end. Once he beat Alessi, there was no one at home.

A great kick from Farnsworth bounces once before finding touch in the corner. Olympians can't win the line out though and the Nippers clear the danger.

50/50 in possession and territory in this game. The Olympians have the lead, but this is a close game. I suggest you all eat your chicken before the props come back out of the changing rooms.

The Nippers will restart this match. Gunner Shriram with the kick. He hits a medium length kick. That's gone to Peter Jackson who takes the catch cleanly.

The Olympians try to drive up the middle. Alej Parero is tackled by Zinzan Brumby for the Nippers and another ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Nippers' players pile on in. I think he's got a little isolated here, and they've turned the ball over!

Classified passes off the back of the ruck to Bill Kirk. Kirk flicks a pass to Shriram. Gunner Shriram is tackled by Charlie Downes for the Olympians and that's the end of that phase. The ruck is contested but the Nippers show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck.

The Nippers spread the ball again, 15 metres beyond the halfway line. The pass is spread out to Faldo.
Faldo cuts inside diagonally and wrong-foots Webber. He's through the line with Furball in support.

Jackson needs to make the covering tackle here, but the dummy from Faldo puts him off. I think he's going to make it all the way. Yes, he touches down under the posts. A great run of 36 metres. TRY!!
