Well a rugby challenge sim but instead of writing about the game i would record it using a xbox record thing if I can get one.
Then when Ide recorded it id post the match up for you guys to watch.
    Anyone keen for that?

Well we have Seasonal Rugby already.....unless you mean like drafting players and then simming. In which case it's been done....well we drafted and I started asking for team submissions etc. Not many kents got it in so I only ended up doing trials.

If you're meaning a create your player sort of sim I'm pretty sure Heef won't allow it.

It'd be cool if you could incorporate some sort of rugby mafia sim, since everyone just loves those mafia games.

My idea was u create ur sim he gets signed to a club like rugby sim but instead of reading the match you would watch it.
Not sure how I'd incorporate rugby into the mafia game but if you have an idea for me on how to do it I could try it

Given that it would be in direct competition with Seasonal Rugby, you wouldn't be allowed to do that unless Heath gave you the go-ahead. Which I doubt he would.

Don't think heef will. I could the same thing but for rugby league when live 2 comes out cause rugby league live no one would be intrested

Didn't you have a similarly shitty idea yesterday?

When the new league live comes out that could be pretty decent would still take a fair bit of time to get happening

I think every time someone attempted to start a sim using a video game, it always ended up badly. Video game AI just isn't good enough for that.

Unless it's like 2k or something like that. Although even 2k's simming isn't exactly life like. Just shows games like RC and RLL just come no where close.

I think AI vs AI goes alright on rugby challenge

It also requires heaps of time and effort to run a sim like that, something that people always get sick of after a little while. Especially given interest in these things is pretty minimal anyway.

I would still give it a go if heef said I was aloud

Well if I was Heath I wouldn't let you. :p

Nah. Not that accurate at all. Unless of course you're looking for an offload beauty contest.

It's alright for a little thing on the side (like after drafts, I mean anyhting after drafts is a bonus) but actually running a sim with it, nah. Compared to Heef's sim, there's just no point.

    Fair enough why though

I get what you mean but I would be terrible at running a draft I think. Although if someone started a draft I could supply games

Rugby Challenge is made by Sidhe, isn't it? They rarely even get positioning right, let alone AI.

We already recently did a draft, from which I was gonna sim a tournament to see where each team stood. I started making the teams, did a few trials. There was just a lack of interest tbh which just doesn't make it worth doing. Plus I was quite disappointed in what I was seeing, RC as a simulator in general. Just didn't do our drafted teams justice tbh.

However if you're really keen to sim something then I reckon just sim with the draft we've already done.
