I'm happy with that being called a No Try tbh. I thought the back angle showed separation and he never regained it after that.
I'm referring to Ross' no try. The ball was coming loose but I think there were fingers on the ball as it hit the ground.
He wasn't penalised for that. Regardless though, "not making an effort" to clear the ruck is the most frustrating penalty in the game at the moment. Quite often, actually scratch that in the majority of cases just laying there gives the player playing the ball and the dummy half the best chance to get a quick play the ball without interference.
You'd almost rather have Robson as your half than Mullen these days. At least Robson would stay on the field.
I'd love to know how many partial games Mullen has played. Even when fit and firing he'd be a sure thing to come off with 10 to go.
