CPL MVP: 5 - Jack Newnes - Ran hard all day and was by far the best player for Heef's mob 4 - Trent McKenzie - Lethal kicking out of defence all day 3 - Jamie Elliott - Dominated the crumbs all day for 6 goals 2 - Kieran Jack - Was the best onballer on the park 1 - Dean Cox - won the ruck and was effective around the ground
Newnes is actually a pretty handy player. Perhaps not that good, but in his two games this season he's had a 19 touch 7 mark and 26 touch 5 mark game.
Murphy had the definition of a nightmare. Had to loosen up McKenzie to get some rebound as Murphy was giving nothing. Heef got 4 goals in the last 2 minutes of Q1. From there it was all uphill.
Perhaps, though there wouldn't have been a matchup for Gwilt anyway as Heef ran with 2 talls 4 genuine smalls nothing inbetween Everitt was hardly the worst anyway. Rampe spent most of the day on Hill/Elliott. And Rampe's meant to be pretty good one on one.
Knights going from hero to zero by the looks of it. Might have to give Newnes a start after that performance. Might also be time to give Suban a spell. {fingers crossed for no more injuries}
