Mounties played at full strength today so Stuart won't be resting anyone no matter what happens tonight in the minor premiership game. Seems odd to me.

Finishing in second would be quite the achievement for Canberra though if they win.

Yeah even with their ridiculously easy draw, it's a fair effort. lol the Sharks are fucked losing their 'home ground' final if the Raiders win.

  5. Magic AJ Parker

 The first 4 minutes of this game. 3 errors & 2 penalties.

Still waiting for someone to complete a set.

  6. Magic AJ Parker

Well Mitch Moses finally puts the completion on a set with probably the worst kick you will see this round.

  7. Magic AJ Parker

Then Josh Hodgson gets caught with the ball on last and Aaron Woods follows up with a knock on 4 tackles later and then the Tigers give away a penalty 2 tackles later

That's a brilliant pass from Leilua.

Tigers not even in this game, choking hard.

  9. Lukic L Popovic

    well this is tragic

given the context, wighton's shoulder charge was so fucking stupid.

  11. Magic AJ Parker

Ennis got off his shoulder charge so will definitely be an interesting one, especially considering they will meet each other.

  12. Lukic L Popovic

Getting rid of the shoulder charge was pretty dumb and while I suppose the defender is at an unfair risk of injury now that they don't expect that, I'd be inclined to let him off given it's a pretty instinctive thing to do when 1-1 like that.

There's absolutely no way you can rub Wighton out but not charge Michael Ennis. It will happen though. Ennis' was worse.

Was really stupid from Wighton, I was livid, but he wrong footed himself and tried to tackle with the wrong shoulder IMO. It was his head that did the damage and one arm wrapped so he should be fine considering Ennis came through and dropped the shoulder on someone without the ball. Canberra haven't contested a charge in 2 years so they'll go in all guns blazing if he is charged,.

Also how fucking shit is Micthell Moses. Dead fucking set he's got a bit of talent but he's the worst defender in the modern era of rugby league and consistently overplays his hand in attack. Yuck.

  15. Lukic L Popovic

This was his worst game of the season by far and he was playing pretty dinged up too. Harsh tstl. He was only player that really looked like doing anything for us the whole game.

The defending is true enough, although he really mailed it in against Papalii but in attack he's been excellent.

The whole Wighton & Ennis cases have just made a huge mockery of the MRC & Judiciary.

Time for an overhaul to a simpler system with less people judging on the incidents.

  17. Julian BJ Taylor

    Yeah agreed. Both guilty af.
