Knights unlucky not to be ahead at half-time, thought Penrith were lucky to get their first try after a Cartwright knock-on and probably should've seen Akauola in the bin for a professional foul. Newcastle just turning to shit every time they get into good ball zone. Doing everything else well.
Well gotta feel for the Knights again, blatant obstruction by Penrith and Dave Munro just sits there with the whistle in his mouth waiting for god knows what? Penrith end up scoring on some advantageous field position on the back of it all.
Seems to be a real influx of quality rookies this year, more than in years gone by. Cleary, Fisher-Harris & Saifiti are all top quality.
Shocking defence from Pete Matautia, absolutely nothing on for the Panthers there until he came rushing out. Can see Penrith running away with it from here.
Completely forgot about Latu, haven't been that impressed by Barnett yet. Seems to lack some of the physicality required to be an NRL standard second rower, could easily develop that over the off-season though.
Annoyed that Sione MattUtai has been out for a few weeks, has been good to watch even in such a woeful side.
Yeh I think he'll make a pretty good transition into the second row, reminds me a lot of when Soliola first made the switch.
