Few things: Tedesco is a gun. Wasn't his greatest game, although he was safe and had his usual half breaks here and there. That try was just insane though. Moses has come on leaps and bounds, especially without Farah. Brooks is still average, but Moses is on his way to becoming a rep player from his recent performances. If Nofoaluma had a bit more pace, he'd be the most devastating winger in the league. Machine. Halatau does a great job at hooker. Service is surprisingly good, few effective scoots here and there and solid defence. Him and Taylor playing big minutes up the middle has really secured our defence. Our prop rotation low key is one of the best in the league. Woods needs no explaining, although recently he's added some ball playing to his repertoire like Graham/Kasiano and it's been really effective at the line. Ball to Sue was a beauty. Sue and Seumanufagai have come on leaps and bounds. Can't remember the last time either of them got stopped, let alone pushed back. Grant is back in the form that saw him play origin a few years back. What many thought was a weakness is turning out to be a strength for us. Annoying things: Rankin sucks. Lovett sucks.
It's inconclusive by definition, hence the expression 'pretty conclusive.' I think it's a try but by their standards over the last few years, it shouldn't have been given. You have to assume there's no hand under it and you have to assume the ball touched the line. That's not conclusive. It's circumstantial. Strong circumstantial but by no means definitive to warrant overturning it. I'm sort of happy that they use common sense though. That's one of the worst games of Granville's career. Service was awful, running was non-existent, and defence was disgustingly poor.
If ever there was an example of the occasion getting to a team. 22 missed tackles and 62% completion rate from a team who averages close to 80%. You're going to struggle to beat even Newcastle with those numbers. Let's hope they back that up next week with a similar performance.
