It's really a non-issue. It's like a good rape joke, it's in bad taste but it's harmless. The result of that coin toss had no bearing on the overall result. Our line-speed and defence was just too good to give the Titans any real chance of a field goal or otherwise. Their true chances came off the back of charge downs.
I think I'm more annoyed at the ref than Graham. Graham could've just been a mistake caused by excitement/confusion/general lack of intelligence. But for the ref to fuck that up is inexcusable.

The amount of teams that are offside during a field goal attempt is insane. No ref wants to blow that penalty.

The point is that the outcome of the game does not remotely influence an objective evaluation of literally cheating in a gentleman's agreement before a match. You don't interfere with the coin. You don't pick the coin up before the ref gets a chance to look at it. And you don't fucking lie about what you called. That is fucking pathetic, juvenile and incredibly unsportsmanlike. I'm with you here. Even if Graham was aware of the lie, I doubt he expected the Ref to go along with it. The Ref has an obligation to remember what the fuck happened a second ago.
How good have you actually been though considering you haven't had a sniff of an actual grand final since the 70s? I've actually always had a soft spot for the club because of family members that are heavily involved in feeder leagues for the club. Got taken into dressing sheds quite a few times as a young lad and have watched more NRL games at Shark Park than anywhere else. It's a battling club from one of my favourite parts of Sydney and like most Aussies I tend to get behind the smaller dog in a fight. They've been so much better than I expected this year, granted. But what the club and team has become has distanced them from the average league supporter IMO. There was the drug cheating and the sense of entitlement the group and Shane Flanagan had about the entire issue. Then there's the fact that Paul Gallen has become the whiniest bitch in rugby league over the past 4 season or so. And you've got Andrew Fifita who is just the shittest cunt out.
So Graham's admitted doing it deliberately. Flanagan, Gallen etc are just laughing it off. I hope the cunt does an ACL.
