I've long had a theory of backing whichever team has the most losing origin players in it, all the bronx would've hit the piss, celebrated and let off steam. Jackson+Klemmer+Jorris(kinda) would've gone him fuming and ready to rock. Plus Waddell factor. Also why I think Raiders will be top 4 at years end. Broncos will always battle through origin and the couple weeks following.
It's coupled with the fact non origin players are shunting it up. Last year Hunt/Milford/Blair were all killing it, and we went through origin undefeated, IIRC. This year they are playing like cunts, and McCullough is probably the most important part of the Broncos squad.
