It's pretty hard for Josh Gibson to be the rotation KP back when he's not named. I don't even know if you've got him?
CPL MVP: 5 - Franklin: Had a typical Franklin game to set up the win 4 - Cross: Found space everywhere to link midfield and attack 3 - Murphy: A rare shining light - used the ball effectively from defence and chipped in with two long goals 2 - McDonald: Blanketed Pavlich. Enough said 1 - Vickery: 20 touches, 8 hitouts, 10 marks, 2.4 and 5 tackles. Just a very good all round game.
Jabba's my dark horse to win the whole thing. He's covered his weaknesses really well and his forward line is scary. Most teams don't have two key backs to handle Roughy/Franklin and Goodes as a third tall will monster most blokes. Add on Mayne/Breust/Ballantyne who are 3 of the best smalls around and nobody's got the small backs to man up on them either. Either you play three lockdown backs and lose all rebound or you go for a bit of rebound at the cost of letting a jet small run riot. Add in Lewis Jetta to the rotation and fuark. Best forward line easily. Only weaknesses are no third tall so often Myers/Gilbert get monstered by a bloke like Lynch, needs a third key back and Roughead as ruck relief works but it's not ideal. Lobbe could probably fit into the side and he/Pyke while resting would stretch the forward line even further while also allowing Goodes to move into the middle if they needed spark. Probably an elite midfielder short too but on his day he can beat anyone.
Yeah I completely forgot to add a ruck relief Will have to see who out of Rosa,Grigg and Cross has done the worst over preseason and this 1 game to drop
