bit of a joke imo. Must be the only sport which does the draw 26 months before the actual comp.

    A: Australia, England, Wales, Oce1 (Fiji), Play-off
B: South Africa, Samoa, Scotland, Asia1 (Japan), Amer2 (USA)
    C: NZ, Argentina, Tonga, Eur1, Afr1
    D: France, Ireland, Italy, Amer1 (Canada), Eur2

Hosts can't be said to fix the draw for themselves, at least.

Total joke. Should be done no earlier than a year out

    Dat group A.

  4. Alex AJ O'Driscoll

Top seeds should be 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the last Cup and then the hosts. Joke that we've drawn England and Wales.

The pool of death looks to be A then. It seems a bit stupid to do this so early imo. With the amount of time left until the competition actually starts, the team rosters could look entirely different by then.

    Let us hope Fiji prevail

Pool A defo group of death.

Pool C is a joke. Why not just put NZ in the quarter finals and get it over with - ZERO competition for them as they will smack the Argies all over the park with their 8th best side being their National soccer team.

Lol. Stupid drawing it this far out. Even more stupid kiwis are making a big deal out of it. Building up the dissapointment early

Fuck you're a dick. 99*'s cock probably tastes better than All Black success for you.

Fucking lol, I wasn't even trying to troll you and you bite.

Hate how WC focused the country is. Who fucking cares

Everyone. It's the main prize that should and will be defended to the best of our ability

It's too big of a focus IMO. It's years away, and it's being hyped already.

Don't run before you walk - one game at a time etc

It's the main focus for every rugby nation. If it's not there's something wrong.

Can't really complain at a draw to a competition with such few viable teams as the RWC. One way or another you've got to beat the top sides and if you can't do that then you go home. If we've got to beat Australia or Wales to get out of the group then so be it, it's not like losing to them in the quarter finals would be any different.

  15. Magrat Garlick M Garlick

Well England still have to beat another good team in the quarter-finals, so the challenge goes from beating 3 competent teams to win to beating 4.

Don't hate on us who love to support the ABs who are successful in there sport. I know it must be hard to be a die hard Blackcaps fan but don't hate on supporters who support a winning side.

    Hear hear!

So based on that you'd have:

NZ, France, Australia and England as the top seeds.

South Africa, Ireland, Argentina and Samoa in the second pool.

Wales, Italy, Scotland and Tonga in the third.

Which could end up being equally as shit a draw if you get Australia, South Africa and Wales.

Becomes even worse when you consider that the next world cup is in Japan.

Scotland virtually guaranteed to get through and one of Wales/Aus/Eng miss out.

    gw IRB

Happy with group D though. Should get through easily enough

Whilst logistics and anti-corruption measures would need to be massive, would it not ever be feasible to do a draw manually so as to make the pools as even as possible, by getting a panel to work it out?
