It would have just been The Raconteurs or The Dead Weather. Some people just can't hack something that's different.
I wouldnt go to far and call them radicly different. For me the the simple drummer was there because what Jack played was simple anyway. It was simple music, it wasnt meant to be overly grand or complicated, complicity would have ruined what made them who they were.
