Rego's Betting Thread

Oh I was looking at the Rockets line and was shocked. NO was good but not quite Houston good.

Still a positive day for both of us.

 

3-3 for the week so far.

Up $6.51 so far for the week now. Had $36.04 on Houston only $25 on NO (originally only $15 but chucked another $10 on them - damn) still profit though.

3-1 day, Dallas winning by 4 and I had that -4.5 bet - gutted. Still 3-1 day

Yeah I'm working 11-12 hour days, 7 days a week atm so just have to make my bets in the morning and generally see the scores during breaks or when I get home. Which isn't as fun as being able to watch it obviously.

6-4 for the week now.

 

I've been doing it for 2 months now, 1 month to go before back to uni. Only crazy this month so 3-4 weeks pain then it slows down to more normal hours like November and December. Work only 8 hour days though on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's so more like 65-70 hours per week.

I'm not being made to do it, well I'd have a very upset and panicky brother (he has a contract) but it's not some china forced labour shit. Although about 6 of us pounding away during this busy period and I by far work the most hours. Pretty hard being on your feet all day everyday, with life consisting of bed, work, bed, work but like I say it's not like it's for extended periods of time.

I did it last year and lost a gf over it, luckily my current is a bit more/ completely rational and understanding.

Picking and packing. So pretty boring haha. It's stationery related so hence busy this time of year (back to school).

Haha yeah definitely realise that now. Had been together for a year and she knew I was doing it - which meant I wasn't gonna see her at all really during the busy period (a month ffs). I made the effort to talk to her/ Skype late every night, I didn't care if I was tired but apparently that wasn't good enough. Thought things would be all good because we were both off to the same uni and would be able to spend ample time together. 3 weeks into uni she called it wraps obviously saying the usual crap - don't see a future etc. But it came down to the fact that she had time away and fell apart and claimed I put work before her blah blah blah. She was high maintenance, at least she knew it.

Current gf who's chill as fuck made me realise how shit my ex made me feel (never good enough). Good life lesson.

 

Quickly do it in the morning when eating breakast, then check up on scores during breaks.

4-0 for the day glad I ended up putting money on that Washington bet. Chicago have been so inconsistent.

10-4 for the week now. Another solid week shaping up.
