That ****ing shits me how easily they fold when things dont go their way in games, they basically folded when Melbourne got the first try.

 

Thurston should be moved to 5/8th IMO. He's trying to do too much.

Watts should be at 7.

 

I disagree. Payne can't organise for shit, he's not a creator's arsehole nor is he a dangerous ball runner. Watts has a long history of playing half back throughout his career. They can stand to lose a bit of organisation if it means having a "take charge" halfback who'll allow Thurston to inject himself when and more importantly, where, he is most dangerous. Game 1 showed this when Lockyer took charge at first receiver and Smith was absent - Thurston was lethal.

 

Neither of them are FG standard footballers.

 

Thompson given enough chances in FG will become a decent footballer but wont happen this season.
I dont think itd make a difference moving JT to 6 he will probably ask to do the same amount as he does anyway.

 

With the way they play without him it almost seems like they dont like playing under his captaincy or even in general.

 

I got no real expectations next week, everytime I have them the Cowboys let down. I just hope they can win but wont hold my breath lol
