And the Thurston cocksucking begins again. Seriously my dream outcome for this game would be about 30 simultaneous ACLs.
He threw a brilliant pass granted, I'm just saying we don't need 5 minutes of verbal fellatio every time he touches the ball. And the injury thing was just a joke. except in Thurstons case.
I'm impressed with the Cowboys defence in the middle. It's cracked a few times due to overzealous reading but the contact itself has been lower and more solid. Tonga's miss on Reed was poor and uncharacteristic. Tupou on the other side has been caught out about 3 times. Graham and Bani look shaky and useless. This bullshit risky football and continual criss-crossing and hospital passing to the forwards is giving me the shits. They should be wider and running straight. If Ashley Graham, Michael Bani or Ray Thompson throw one more hospital pass when running sideways...Thompson is fucking useless - Dud kicking, hesitation, poor decision making. He's just not as good as Morgan. On the positives... The starting forwards + Tamou and Cooper have been excellent. Johnson, Hall, Sims and Cooper all look to have slotted into the Cowboys side nicely. Scott was again the cornerstone. Ashton Sims looked possessed. Thurston has made some very nice touches, as has Bowen.
I agree to an extent that the star players in our game receive too much fawning but you can't simply pinpoint Thurston and throw invectives at him because Channel 9 are shameless opportunists. Sitting there listening to Gould wax poetic about Marshall every time he touches the ball makes me sick.
Broncs look dire out wide. Reed and Gagai are in all sorts. Parker let in a very soft try which reminded me of why I have never wanted him in Origin. Hunt is yet again pathetic. There are points to be had if ball control is good and opportunities to attack the Cowboys line present themselves. Too much dropped ball and too many missed tackles at this point. I don't like Thaiday playing in the middle at all. He should be on a fringe.
Yeah but we're watching a Cowboys game, not a Tigers game. I mean I'll admit that the Thurston love affair annoys me more because of my intense hatred for the man, but still my point stands.
