Petero went up the tunnel injured after about 15 minutes. I thought the commentators pointed it out a few times.
Interesting to see if we can keep this up next game. Although I'll probably miss that game too being in Europe.
Watching that game gives me hope for the Knights next season if Gids moves to hooker. His tackling needs some work but other than that I think he was very solid, and most likely outplayed Ennis.
He came back didn't he? Could've been strapping, could've been anything. Meninga clearly had the plan of playing the middle third of the match without Civo or Scott IMO.
He actually got involved. Only time I saw Thurston was when he was complaining to the refs. Wtf did Thurston do that makes you think he played better than Lockyer? And you calling me biased really is stupid. You would take JT's cock like it was the cure to cancer.
Yeah I know he won't be dropped. But he's old, theres no point keeping him in for the sake of it if Mal thinks he can't play 60 minutes.
So if you walk up the tunnel, you can't come back into the game ? I mean, obviously it could've been anything, but I really doubt it was in the gameplan for him to come off for an extended period. Scott on the other hand, nfi what happened with him.
I actually agree with a lot MF has said. Gallen got a good high shot on inglis after a knock on was ruled. Any normal NRL game that would've been on report. Lockyer didn't do anything special, but he didn't do as bad as MF said. Granted he did throw a couple of shit passes, however he did create a lot of near opportunities, etc. He didn't tackle too badly tonight. Overall wasn't up to what we expect from Lockyer, but would still be better than 95% of halves in the NRL. Think that's the key point tbh.
Agreed. You can't say that he did nothing because he was told so.That's like saying Jason King was crap because he wasn't passed the ball.
Petero walks up the tunnel every bloody game. Not sure why people think that him walking up the tunnel is a new thing....
Cunt hogged the kicking all night so obviously. How man long kicks did Thurston put in, 2 maybe? Those are preliminary stats and they don't reflect how they defended anyway. Lockyer was caught out of position once again just like in Game 1. Stats don't show Lockyer not moving up all night. Yeah, just a plethora of hospital balls, a pass to no-one. Even if I grant your reductionist view, Lockyer gave away a penalty, and Thurston didn't.
You've used these preliminary stats multiple times, so don't say they aren't accurate. If Lockyer hogged the kicking then he would've hogged the short kicking as well- your theory doesn't match up.
