Which software do you use? I've been using Motioninjoy but it's horrendous. Are there any alternatives?
I can get it to work but the actual controls keep fucking up. I couldn't find a setting that works for NBA 2k13 and when I eventually did, the next time I turned on the computer, the settings returned to default and I can't remember what I had. Yeah. But I don't have an xbox so fuck buying one.
Just open MotionJoy and click the XBOX 360 controller emulator checkbox. That's all you have to do, then just click Enable. I also like setting LED to Custom 1, so that I know when it's connected.
I've got a wire, that's not the problem. It's the actual controls themselves that you set through motioninjoy. So many of the buttons don't actually work.
IIRC I am using this Triangle = Button 1 = Block/Rebound Circle = Button 2 = Shoot/Steal Cross = Button 3 = Pass Square = Button 4 = Screen/Take charge L1 = Button 5 = Something I don't use R1 = Button 6 = Icon Pass L2 = Button 7 = As with L1 R2 = Button 8 = Sprint Select = Button 9 = Timeout Start = Button 10 = Pause The sticks are easy enough to configure.
Thats a pretty accurate layout apart from not keying the left side. the left trigger whilst holding r trigger gives you better shots and allows you to do more off ball moves and dribble moves
Yeah I just couldn't remember what they did. :ninja: The better shots with L2 is new to me though. >_>
See, I've tried this, albeit with a few changes (eg. shoot is square/button 4 for me). But it just doesn't work in-game for me.
Yeah I had the same issue as you Eds with Motioninjoy. It'd work perfectly and then like the next time I plugged it in it'd be ultra shit. So inconsistent and I couldn't work out why so I just dealt with it unfortunately.
I just use the XBox defaults. The two controllers are basically the same. It's only the locations of the back triggers that is any different.
