Storer has a copy that had about 30% done iirc. Stupid me thought the best thing to do the moment it happened was plug the power in and turn it on so if it wasn't fucked it is now.
Shattered though, was looking forward to this. Loved the draft though, learnt a fair bit from it too.
If it costs me 150 dollars to get the hard drive extracted then I will do it ftr guys. That committed to this #loveme
Nah, not your problem champ. I was the clumsy one. Plus there's a lot extra on that drive that I'd like to retain so I'd be paying 150 for not only the cpl database Although I'd probably be happy to jettison it if not for this. I've spent too much time on it that 150 bucks is worth it to save. Which is what I've heard the cost to recover the HD stuf is.
Nah, the CPL cycling database. It's a full 120GB hard drive and yet I can't even remember what's on it. Shows how much it means to me.
You'd be surprised how rarely a laptop hard drive actually goes when you spill something on it. Turning it on after it was fried was a bad call though.
Yeah I've resigned myself to short circuiting the motherboard/whatever it is but still hold realistic hope for the harddrive. The fucking annoying thing is the computer I was using was a Lenovo. You know, the whole 'spill proof/drop proof' computers. Literally the first thing I spill on it fries it within 5 seconds.
