    Fuck, we were woeful, pathetic, terrible, what ever term you wanna use we were that, had no intent or nothing, but credit to Roos and Melbourne, fully deserved that win, worst loss ive seen probably ever tbh , also saw Mousey which was probably the highlight of my day haha

    I think he's got enough runs on the board to stick around until at least the end of next year. Obviously tonight, and plenty of other games (namely Enright's 300th) have been piss poor for effort, and a lot of that is on the coach - but he's still a premiership coach (people argue its with Thompson's players but after that '10 prelim defeat, the exit of Bomber and Ablett it was a great coaching job), he's still the guy who got us to 17 wins with this same list that clearly has many holes. Obviously the game plan has been figured out and needs an overhaul, but you can't do that in July. It gets done in January. If we're playing the same shit football at the end of next season and miss finals again (especially if we do in fact get Danger, Scooter, etc) then he needs to be seriously looked at. For now we should put our faith in him, because I think he's a very good tactical coach during the week. Maybe not so much game day - but Bomber was never a great game day coach either.

    Kelly, Stokes, Enright imo in addition to Rivers and McIntosh, obv. That leaves Bartel, Mackie and Johnson for new one year deals, and Lonergan already has one left on his.

    Dawson Simpson will be delisted, maybe Lincoln McCarthy and I thought Billie Smedts was in serious danger of a trade out until he re-signed this week. Wouldn't be surprised to see Blease, Cowan and a couple of others perhaps go - but I'm not sure on their contract status.

    Should probably put whichever one we don't want/another team wants into a package deal for Henderson or a pick to deal for Hendo.

    I don't see why people would want him out tbh?

    He has a list that is only getting older, and the youth that he has brought into the club, he has done a mighty fine job with them. Its natural progression, you can't stay at the top forever. He took over a powerhouse team, inevitably, they were going to get older and slide a little bit but regardless, he has done a good job with the young kids he has.

    He will land Dangerfield, Henderson and possibly one or two others along with some good early draft picks - Geelong is in a good position not only for next year but a few years after that.
