    I'm assuming he's out of contract to be a free agent.

    But yeah just like Goddard last year. Other clubs can make him offers and St Kilda have the chance to match it.

    Restricted free aget - free to go anywhere, if current club offers the same he has to stay? and AFL gives compo

    An unrestricted free agent who has given 10 years of unbroken service at his club or a player with eight years of service and is not in the top 25 percent of contract earners, can move to any new club of their choice irrespective of any counter offers.

    All clear now, I never wrapped my head around it cos I was away for last season, get it now.
