    Fuck it, we derailed the last one with our incessant bickering. So, to appease Cribbs, we'll banter in here.

    I am serious that you cannot have Manly players in the Blues squad. It is their form for Manly that got them picked for the Blues in the first place.

    So name your 2013 Blues side (minus Watmough) & see how they go against this:

    David Williams is obviously a severe handicap for Manly, but the Manly halves shit all over Maloney & Pearce all day, every day.
    Forwards are pretty evenly matched (NSW have the edge in the front row, but Manly have the edge in the back row) & the Manly backline is the best in the league (even with Williams).

    The comment was made based on the current NSW team, for starters, and certainly not on the proviso that Manly players were ineligible. So your challenge is not really relevant to my comment. As for my NSW team, it's not even a contest afaic.

    It's hardly surprising though. It is, after all, a state representative side with no salary cap imposed on it. What do you really expect? You're either grossly exaggerating your own side, or grossly underestimating the NSW team. Probably both I think.

    I actually do think people overlook just how poor the QLD team selections were this year, their forward pack wouldn't look out of place in a first grade side. Had Hayne & Gallen not gotten injured Meninga would've copped so much shit about how he fucked the team up.

    It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see their forward pack get run over by some club sides.
