Oh your so awesome and hip, I'm glad you know who these guys are because you're in a band. They've definitely got a few pearls though.
I know them because i really like music... And spend any time not at uni looking for new music. As i said, both albums are brilliant. Edit... OH I SEE NOW! The post was directed at my boy oh boy. That wasnt meant to be an attack at you at all, and im sorry if you took it that way. I get excited by any chance to talk them up (slash my an expression of my saddness due to not being able to attend there album launch). I beleive i did it somewhere earlier. i havent stopped listening to them, they are my favourite band atm.
Yeah they pump out some good stuff, void is epic. You heard much of dntel's stuff? Not quite as good but a few catchy tunes, I'm really into the laidback instrumental electronia stuff at the moment.
Chad said end of August. Will be interesting to see what sort of style they bring to the table this time having Klinghoffer there now. Personally I like songs like: Can't stop, give it away, suck my kiss, get on top, around the world,blood sugar sex magik, sir psycho sexy etc. etc. These songs have a lot of energy and oomph. That being said I like their softer stuff too but hoping for the funk.
You'd think so but no....don't really like it as much as BSSM onwards. I guess it's just a different sort of funk. Don't get me wrong there's still songs I love prior to BSSM. E.g. Sex Rap, Subway to Venus, Nobody weird like me

Pretty pumped to see what Modest Mouse produce, they are in the studio with Big Boi from Outkast. It'll either be epic or terrible!
