Well if he would have been a good pick - and that's a big if - I wouldn't have picked him anyway as it'd give away a decent CPL 3 pick. I've picked retired blokes who will decline heaps anyway, Trent Johnston and a few random Zimbabweans (none of which are likely to be picked in CPL 3).
He will show everyone that he would've been a gun pick in this comp tbh. Then decline further and not be worthy of selection next season, rendering it pointless...
Yeah. There are a lot of blokes that went from starters in season 1 to not even drafted in season 2. Lanka de Silva is one, but he was fucking shithouse for me.
Probably wasn't really worth picking this time, but he should've done a lot better for you last time around. Law, Butcher and Klusener probably should've been taken this time - not as starters but as backup CPL batsmen. Ealham and Martin-Jenkins are useful allrounders too but again only for backup as they're not good enough on either batting or bowling alone. The rest of my serious picks for this team probably should've been CFD pickups.
I would have picked Klusener,Law and Mushtaq Ahmed maybe but i don't like picking retired players. Specially when i see them in the commentary box or Coaching
I think he didn't have an overly impressive last couple of seasons and i can't really remember but wasn't he a pick in season 1 and didn't play that well.
Did you use this team in any of the trials , if not you should just to see the balance of this team , I dont want them coming runner up after me ofcourse. If yes , please show me the scorecard.
Crawley! What a blast from the past that is. Obviously, happy to see Sheffield's own Sir Vaughan finally get a run out.
