Its common. TE's now are very athletic, good route runners and even catchers. Why wouldn't you take opportunity over that when its only a LB covering him.
HAd to laugh at my last game against the chargers. I had it in the bag, they had the ball - threw a long pass and the WR looked like he'd almsot make it, my defender guy was coming across. So the WR starts doing that little show pony skip thing before he even scores - my dude smashes him and forces a fumble (fluke) and recovers to run 60ms up field. I giggled.
I dump it off to the FB/HB quite regularly if nothing is open down field, however the HB/FB isn't my first read majority of the time.
I seem to have lost the ability to punt return too. I used to be able to back when i first got madden, now i just suck ass at it
Always use my TE as a delayed receiver. On a slant they work so well. HB/FB is like my 2nd read, use them way too much but Westbrook is a great recieving RB. Jacksons always my first read even though hes too small, only ever goes to him if he gets the perfect start against the CB.
If I'm playing as Patriots, my 1st read majority of the time is Moss, then Aiken, then Welker then TE/HB/FB
I usually use Pats on 09, and I go similarly TBF on that but I read Welker, Moss then HB/TE/FB and then my other receiver.
So ****ing pissed off. Went into madden moments last night for the first time in awhile, found out I forgot to save it after completing "Could this be the one?" I keep getting the td and 2 point conversion, however Washington keep winning it in OT >_>
Is it just me or is the be a star mode gotten heaps downgraded? Mind numbingly boring. Still can't be a kicker. Rage.
