    The transfer committee gets a lot of negative press but every club will have something similar. It's just ours is more in the media because of the term used and a bit more of a divide between the old manager and other members. I still think I'm right in saying Rodgers approved all the transfers?

    Yeah, all the media etc want a manager who controls everything but apart from Arsenal where does that actually happen? Klopp has even said before he doesn't want to deal with agents and has always had a director of football that is the official guy on transfers.

    What I wrote on another forum. Pretty much sums up my feelings over it

    This appointment will get me, and the rest of the fans, excited about watching Liverpool play again. I'm not expecting Klopp to turn it around over night but at least he's going to put in some passion and determination into our play. Compare this to Rodgers, who was a beaten man, and it reflected on the players and our performances.

    We've now got a fresh start and we've got a chance to turn things around and have a productive season be it challenging for a place in the top 4 or even a chance of winning a trophy. I'm not saying we will but it's something I don't think was possible under the old management. It's easily the best decision FSG have done since arriving at the club

    It hasn't worked is such a basic argument. You don't know who scouts which players, which players are recommended by who, etc.

    In reality it's pretty much impossible for us to know. But in theory, I know for sure that I want my manager to be worrying about his team and not recruitment. Otherwise you end up with the likes of Rodgers who just wanted to sign PL players.
