    The best players are still at the same level though. I know what you're saying but our selectors don't pick shit ****s. The same 17 would still be chosen even if we had double the players...

    Exactly.

    He's a 5/8 naturally, not a half. He carved it just after he left the Dogs, when he was still playing 6.

    At Halfback, I would want Prince more than him.

    I've even said before, if QLD wanted to set up for the future, they'd go 6. Thurston, 7. Prince.

    Locky is to good to leave out though. However that'll be the plan in 2011 and beyond.

    Prince will get in one or two origin series post-Lockyer, then he will retire. Then unfortunately we will be looking at a Thurston/Cronk halves pairing.

    He had a good 2007 season but remember he played behind an injury filled forward pack, had inexperience in that department, but I do think he was more effective in 05 when he was five eighth.
