I was ragging on Cribb but you had 3 separate spells of 1 over each and they all got belted.

Also after having been 8(2) with batting to come you were too conservative with the bat IMO.

Our bowling really is struggling. Our board should maybe consider some training in that area.

Will sim the second ODI tonight or tomorrow morning, so long as I have a lineup in

    THIS!

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat.

    10 overs: Pakistan 39/1

CricSim edged the early tussle as Pakistan started cautiously, and the key wicket was taken as Ali nicked a Dyer inswinger through to the keeper.

    20 overs: Pakistan 63/1

Devon Mace was promoted up the bowling order and the legspinner - contrary to his world cup form - completely clamped down on the runs. Fakhar Zaman (32* off 65) and Babar Azam (19* off 41) were completely unable to get MAce away as he conceded just five runs from an opening five overs.

    30 overs: Pakistan 123/1

CricSim weren't able to make the pressure tell through the middle overs, and the Pakistanis started to play with more freedom as they hunted for a breakthrough. Fakhar Zaman's fifty came from 88 balls, but Babar Azam was swiftly catching up.

    40 overs: Pakistan 178/2

Devon MAce completed a remarkable spell of 10 overs for 30 runs, but the breakthrough came at the other end from Jono Chewie, pulling off a fine caught and bowled to dismiss Azam shortly after his half century. Chewi's spell had leaked runs - as had Lewis - and so Zaman progressed towards a ton, and Ahmed Shehzad got off to a hot start agaisnt the CricSi spinners too.

    50 overs: Pakistan 291/3

This pair were in control now, and Zaman's hundred came from Lewis' fifth over, which disappeared for 19. Ahmed Shehzad's cameo turned into an outstanding death overs fifty as the seamers started to take some tap as well.

Andrew James got the much needed wicket of Fakhar Zaman late in his spell, but the damage had been effectively done.
