    What if someone is trying to describe a nice sanga they had?
    Using the word coon isn't juvenile, it's a common word in a lot of peoples lives. I know coons who refer to themelves and their kind as coons.

    You standing up against racism and being politically correct doesn't make you a good person, so stop acting like you defending coons makes you above everyone else, because that's how you post.

    I don't understand why you're so hell bent against it then. It doesn't effect you, and the Indigenous members of this site have no issue with it. We're an Internet community, everything is always going to be a little cruder when people don't have to be responsible for what they say.

    I actually think it's a shame people are so racist on here. There's a difference between not bothering to be PC and just straight up being racist, and a lot of the stuff here falls into the latter.

    That said, I don't think censoring it is really the way to go. If someone directly attacks another member outside of Direness then it's going to be punished whether it's racist or not, but I'm not going to gag people of their views. If you think people are being racist cunts then take it up with them, Steve, start a thread calling them out, don't cry to mummy about us not punishing them.

    Oh I agree, some go out if their way to be over the top racist or over the top controversial, and that's a shame, but that's internet culture. People need to understand the medium they're communicating through and it's pros and cons.
