Was hoping he'd sneak through due to his average stat line until my next pick so I could pick him up before Bots.
Thought I'd do one based on ratings and stats. Stupid result.... 1. Vancouver Grizzles (Eggman) 2. Toronto Raptors (Iridium) 3. Indiana Pacers (Farhat) 4. Cleveland Cavaliers (KickATinAlong) 5. Los Angeles Lakers (Shagger) 6. Chicago Bulls (Eds) 7= Orlando Magic (The Half Back) 7= Seattle SuperSonics (Mousey) 9. Dallas Mavericks (Teacups) 10. Houston Rockets (Escath) 11. Golden State Warriors (Benny) 12. Portland Trail Blazers (Arheiner) 13= New York Knicks (Jabba) 13= Milwaukee Bucks (Hunter) 15. Washington Bullets (brettman135) 16. Minessota Timberwolves (Gazza) 17. Detroit Pistons (Frizzed)
My thoughts on best & worst picks: Round 1: Best: Ignoring MJ, and all the other top picks i think Teacups getting Bernard King with the last pick was a good pick. Worst: This is harsh because of Benny taking a risk, Sam Bowie. Round 2: Best: Its a toss up between, Mark Aguirre & Terry Cummings. I thought Cummings would go high in the 2nd round. Worst: Danny Ainge, he is probably a good 5/6th round pick. Ainge isn't at all a 2nd round pick. Round 3: Best: George Gervin, 4 time scoring champ and the best finger roll lay up ever. Worst: Jerome Kersey, went too early in my opinion. Probably should've gone around the 6th round.
See, that's where our strategies differ. I figured why not just go for the best guys now since we won't be getting past one season anyway.
I think we'll get into a few season. The way Iridium is doing is month by month until play offs. So it should be quick.
This initial draft is the slow part. Once that's done, we can pretty much breeze through the season. Definitely aiming for more than 1 season.
