Hey Crusaders

Well then, frankly, this is being blown way out of proportion.

There may be a couple of others but, seriously, losing a few players does not equate to a successful club suddenly having to fold. It equates to them *probably* having a poor season.. but you can't have a good season every single time. It's not like they've been consistently rubbish since their inception like the Lions or even consistently mediocre since their inception like the Pumas. They've been a very successful club currently in a bit of a dip. Someone has to finish in the bottom half of the ladder but CricSim is not a promotion and relegation system - it doesn't mean you should be flicked for a new club. Clubs should be able to have a few rough seasons without threads like this popping out.. they should only consider folding if they find themselves performing extraordinarily poorly for consecutive seasons and have no long-term way out. The original Vipers, and the Lions, were good examples of this. The Crusaders haven't even started their period of poor performances and while they'll probably have a less-than-awesome team next season, turning it all in at the first sign of problems would be ridiculous. They may well fold in the next couple of seasons but we have to actually see where it takes them - they're a club that deserves CricSim's support.

Really, as I said, this thread and the reactions from many have been ridiculously premature. There are three real reasons this thread exists:

1. Public backlash to SM being a ****ing dickhead and starting a shithouse thread
2. Inter-club political struggles being aired in public and people taking an opportunity to jump on bandwagons
3. Wilson massaging his ego by pretending it all stems back to some incident involving him 10,000 years ago which I don't even remember (although it does sound vaguely familiar and indeed sounds like something I'd do).
