    I assume the point you were making was that their players were too good to be relegated. Well they were obviously overrated then because they finished in the bottom three. It's a 38-game season ffs.

    I don't know why you're arguing this point tbh. I never said that they didn't deserve to, or they weren't terrible on the field. I was stating that on paper that season, excluding what happened, there was no way they should have gone down. There were several weaker teams.

    Reading finished 8th. Only didn't go to Europe cause Steve Coppell wanted to get in on league merit, not via a side competition. Gutted.
