    I'd deadset blow Billy I don't give a fuck.

  2. Old Mate M Perry

    He's explosive over short distances.

He got a 6 rating on foxsports. They are kidding right?

  4. Toolman TR Man

He cracked under pressure... again. Lol at how many times he fucks up in big games

  5. Alec AD Funkotron

The try saver against Morris was awesome.

Bullshit he cracked. He fumbled that ball, and threw a few risky balls - they didn't come off, but they didn't hurt us either.

He scored a try, he set up the norrie no try, he made a try saving tackle and he made the Morris save.

Apparently Barba played better than him, haha.

If Dogs scored when Slater fucked that catch/diving retard impression, I reckon they would have gone on with it. Just because they didn't take advantage doesn't mean it wasn't a choke.

Barba was pus but Slater wasn't exactly brilliant either. That first pass was disgraceful from a Test fullback in a GF. As was his fumble to start the second half. He was just his usual self - brilliant one minute, mind-bogglingly woeful the next.

If my life depended on it, I'd take Inglis as QLD and Test fullback over Slater. Not quite as dangerous but a lot more reliable. Stewart too.

  9. Number 11 CJ Downes

He started off great but he deteriorated as the season went on IMO. A year to remember for club/origin victories but one that raised some serious question marks over his capability.

He was just as capable this year as any other year? There's always been question marks over his capability, but no one has been anywhere near as good as him in years. It's only this year that Inglis has finally started playing fullback.

He was abysmal this year in Origin. I was half glad he was ruled out of Game 3. If he could just dial down the moments of pure risk and gain some better measure of when to pull the trigger and when to throttle back, he'd be unstoppable. He's been that way his entire career though so I don't hold much hope for that evolution.

  12. Number 11 CJ Downes

He was pretty terrible in origin and below average in this grand final. Maybe it's just that he was noticeably poor on the big stage this season... And yeah with Inglis playing Number 1 Maybe it's just more obvious to me. I'd have Inglis at first choice and Slater as utility for AUS/QLD. Unlikley to happen though.

As much as I want Inglis I can't, however, see myself dropping Slater. I don't think he deserves to be dropped and I don't think Smith, Cronk and others would take it well. And of course the media would have a frenzy, not that that would deter me in any way from making such a difficult decision if I thought it warranted.

You could go through every single big game in the last 4 years and maybe find one of them where he hasn't done something stupid. I don't know what it is about him but he continues to do it. If handing NZ the world title twice wasn't enough to question his capabilities... then I'm sure 99% of the rugby league community will completely forget about any fuck ups this year as well.

  15. Lukic L Popovic

I'd take Inglis and Hayne before Slater for Aus at FB tbh.

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Fuck off. Hayne is meh.

  17. Flack SA Flack

    Agreed, Hayne is pretty average.

  18. Tartmaster AJ James

Hayne is just like slater except more extreme in his brilliance and his shitness.

  19. Lukic L Popovic

Hayne's definitely a better player than Slater.

Hayne's definitely done nothing in rep footy at fullback.
