Tbh I can see you breaking this side next season, whether at 5 instead of Short, or opening in place of McGrath.

 

McGrath is versatile though, so you could always slide him down and have Dafter opening.

 

Dafter has experience at 5 while McGrath doesnt though, and would rather keep Hornby at 4.

 

Yeah I dont know much about Dafter. McGrath could bat as low as 4 IMO. Has COlesy been gunning it for you lot or something?

 

No but he is a better batsman than Dafter or McGrath so I think Blunder would rather just have the better batsman in his natural position.

 

I remember when Colesy was a batting allrounder, batting a 6 etc etc. He seems to be opening a hell of a lot for 'Rays. Not sure how 'natural' number 4 is for him.

But as you say, he is your best batsmen. And if you bat him to low he might not get much time out in the middle in the OD Stuff.

 

They were talking about FC stuff for McGrath and Dafter. So for that Luffers is our best batsman, in terms of representing GB Goody would also be a head of him IMO.

 

Shite is probably harsh. Average would be fairer.
