If I'm going to go for the money hoarding route for like a month should I avoid this guy? Or play a mixed game - some hoarding and buy some players?
You can wait for another 1k/2k buy I guess like the one that has just passed. If you're in no hurry then don't go for this guy. He's not great with that exp and fielding haha. I just assumed you were in a hurry. I certainly prefer the guy who went for 1k over this shunt going for 20k.

I'm not really sure how this works so forgive me if what I'm saying doesn't make any sense, but are there any of you who'd change to pull Canadian and get involved with the Canadian national discussion if the official Canadian offsite discussion was actually on CricSim?

I'd most likely transfer out of NZ to Canada if that were to happen. Transfers don't take place until the end of season though iirc.
Having an affiliate in the canadian leagues I recommend against strongly. Matches begin at 1.30AM for me so it'd be like 3.30AM for you.
It would probably make me pull Canadian but that's about it. Not really into Nat discussion but if it's on here, that might change.
