    He's definitely a gun, but training fielding much later than what they should have has cost them a squillion in unnecessary wages for little benefit.

    It's great news as far as my shot at a div 1 title is concerned but still sad my big 30 yo quick has been dropped from the national squad after 32 Nat matches with 38 wickets at 23 and 9 wickets at 24 in each format.

    On the flip side, my allrounder remains in a Nat squad 2 seasons after being dropped and told he'd never be suitable.

    I'd say he'd be fairly similar, just trained a little different. In saying that, there aren't too many 22yo that pop on the market in that category...
