I slipped into 2nd in the SOD... 1st is 2 wins and a draw clear though!
Undefeated and by ratings should only really be 4th!

 

Sucks being on the receiving end of those... That cost me promotion a maybe three seasons back!

 

I've got a bloke on 99 and a bloke on 91

 

How would you train this guy Skippos? I want to use him as a bowling allrounder/Philander type player. How much should I put into his batting?

I'd probably chuck him on allrounder until his bowling/tech peak. I've got a bloke with capable batting who I'm pretty comfortable with to score 20 runs a knock. Reasonable would probably suffice although capable gives far greater value.

Struggled with the bat on a slow/humid against Neiklot's affiliate. Was 90-5 after 30 odd overs but then a blitz from my lovely keeper Odinga got us to 199. Ably supported by his captain, Johnston who made a useful 38.

Not looking good so far. In comes the spin though to hopefully put the breaks on.

Forgot to do orders so it was on default. Only major change I would have made was McCauley in and Thompson out. So I can't complain too much.

 

Boyle's tech popped in January 3rd to exceptional. Been on batting since. He's probably close to WC tech. Which is why I was contemplating taking him to WC/WC.

Pretty happy with that. We're a real chance. Quinn needs to fuck right off though.

I'd put him on bat tech then and take him to wc tech and then work on other things. to make it to wc/wc his tech would be 40% to elite even if he's on batting the whole way so at wc/wc his wage would be like 26,500.

 

Yeah the wage is what puts me off the most and that's why I want to just stop his primaries soon. As you know, I've never been a fan of taking people to wc/wc. Especially if it's cutting it pretty close as it is with Boyle at 24.
