haha. Yeah. Saying that we were desperate to sign him is pretty humerous. Tyson put out feelers at the very start when we hadn't recruited anyone. There's no way that we would even consider taking that ****rag now.

 

Clearly this is the Gamblers way of trying to have some meaning in this comp. they realise they're a team of shit ****s and need a rivalry with the best team in the comp to have any chance of survival.

 

When did we actually make fun of it? They started the thread....As for the randomness, I disagree. If you look at our squad, we are basically devoid of any retard 13 yr olds. we have a good bunch of blokes in which to build on. You can see that that's the case by the fact that we only lost three players across both grades for next season, and one was Choco....

 

Yeah. It's elite while it suits them. Joke of a club who will be nothing in a season or two.

 

The question really needs to be asked, how different is this club from the Lions? They've got their head of recruitment and their cos from that club. If they're so elite, why couldn't they rescue that club rather than starting a new one. Benny had seasons recruiting for that club and couldn't get them anywhere. Jemmell suffers from the Laurie Daley effect. People think that because he's good at the game, he will therefore be knowledgable about the game.
