    Yeah I thought it was harsh but it also shows just how good of a man he is for admitting to the coach that he should be dropped. Who was the other prop on the bench though? I can only think of the two starting props. Watmough being picked is a deadset joke.

    ****ing gun about McKendry. Good luck to him, it will be an interesting test for him.

    These guys singing atm aren't too bad.

    There is no way Watmough should be on the bench ahead of Civoniceva, whether he thinks so or not. His big game experience and his overall calibre should not be sitting on the sidelines. It is yet another example of short-term form ruling the minds of not only fans and coaches but also players.

    The short-term form junkies strike again. Sheens's subtext of the campaign was that everyone will be judged on their form - That is preposterous when you have 40 game veterans alongside 2 or 3 game rookies. In that context, yeah I bet Petero thinks he shouldn't be there. Does that mean if he had been picked he wouldn't have gone out and played his arse off? Of course not.

    Yeah, even if Civo says he doesn't deserve to be there AND he's on life support, he still should be there ahead of Watmaugh.

    Well, Watmough isn't even in the team now. The team I saw with Civoniceva missing was with Watmough in his place.

    Either way, I don't see how Myles should be picked as a front rower ahead of Civoniceva. It's ridiculous now that he's slimmed down.

    The silly thing is that even if Sheens was going on short-term form, Watmough's form recently has been quite poor anyway. So much so that some Manly fans were even suggesting he might not make the team.

    Ed: Hadn't realised Myles was in for Watmough.

    I'm not saying that he doesn't deserve to be there. But if he himself thinks he doesn't deserve a spot because he might let the team down, then good on him.
