It's marginal. Maybe he scrapes in. Big fish in a small pond player really. As an individual player, his skills were brilliant but putting him in a midfield where he'd be the worst player? I don't think he works that way at all. Obviously you can say that many of the selected players haven't been the worst in their position on their team but at the same time they'd been on much better teams and played as a part of the team rather than being the direct source of a spark. Le Tissier also had noted work ethic issues and what I said before, tied in with the obviously unattractive location of Southampton is why he played so few times for England and is only remembered as someone who had amazing skill and scored great goals but not as a great player. Put it this way, out of 16 teams in 25 rounds you'd see rougly 150 mids taken. Individually, yeah, his skill puts him in the top 150 mids to feature in the past 20 years and easily but I probably wouldn't have him if building a team. Also there's definitely a strong bias towards English players.
He would probably have been a better selection if I had a great defensive midfielder - then he'd be a luxury that I could afford. Amazing player though, probably one of the most talented to play the game - someone I'd definitely expect to be taken in one of these.

Benny. Won't be surprised if I fall foul of modern-itis. There's no way in hell my back 5 isn't better than Cabinet's IMO but his will be more familiar and garner more votes IMO.
I also think there's a couple of players in his line-up that aren't good enough to be in a draft of this size, personally. I'm sure others would disagree though.
For a moment thought Cabinet had David Silva and Gerrard in the midfield and there. Gilberto and Gerrard give a better balance though.
Would have given the first one to Prez as his team beyond the defence is more workable, i feel than benny's with more players playing in preferred positions. But that defence is really poor and will get torn apart by Benny's team. Benny In the second one it's more tougher, but Baxter again gets it due to there being more weak links in Cabinet's team.
