Yeah commentary will get a bit repetitive though. Once I get my hands on it I'll see if there are ways to work around the repetitiveness.

Sorry, were you in the starting 17 for NSW? It was supposed to be you as 18th man. I'll just go and edit that now.

$100 says he is replaced by a TEagles player.

I don't know what creativity means exactly according to Cribb, but to me it is the ability to think on your feet and make somthing where there is nothing, has nothing to do with a designated benificiary, could be for yourself or others. The point being a creative fullback makes a hole, a running fullback runs through a hole at pace. My experience of football is that a running fullback plays better wide at the end of backline movments where the area is a little less congested, whereas a creative fullback will work in both areas but is best put to use making room in the middle (for himself or others).

Now as Cribb said a creative lock can make holes so obviously a running fullback would be able to work off him, but as I said i think a running fullback is better with more room, which you will get out wider with good backline movment. Which is why I think a running fullback benifits more from a good half then from a good creative lock.

As for billy slater, I'm not his biggest fan by any strech but his best role is primarily as a broken play specialist IMHO, creating room for himself or occasionally just coming up with miracle plays, and that is my definition of creative. So he would better fall into the creative catagory rather then running category. (not a proclamation off skill level just skill base)

As far as the sim is concerned, creativity is the ability to put someone else into a gap. Hole-running is (obviously) the ability to run into one, and the attribute that's called "step/fend" is essentially the ability to create one for yourself.

Lets make a list of ways someone could make a hole in the defensive line:

    1. By running

    End of List

There's not real any creativity to it. Oh wait, you can run left AND THEN run right! Holy shit!

Obviously someone plays better when they have more room. But would you seriously rather someone who ran for himself with room, or someone who knew when to pass and how to draw in defenders so he could put someone else into a proper hole?

There isn't much to Slater's game other than running. Srsly, what's your definition of a running fullback then?

Karmichael is a running fullback, apparently.

    Fixed.

Obviously having a creative player is benifitial, just like having a player who is quick and can hits gaps is good, not all players can do all things though. (btw if you are trying to refer to boob, please show me where I said he wasn't any good)

A running fullback will sit behind the ball players and either wait for ball line movement late in the set and hit the line at pace, or try and recieve the ball on the other side of the line, or else he will watch for gaps forming and run in when he sees them to recieve either pot passes or offloads. The first way IMO is usually the most effective method of using a running fullback. either way his primary purpose is to hit the line at pace and preferably with a bit off room. (which is why he is better served out wide, for about the third or fourth time)

So...running, and then a dummy. You don't have to be creative to do a dummy.

    Still not creativity.

You mean when a ball comes to the player? What's that got to do with his creativity? It's more positioning.

    Again, nothing creative there.

So now you are saying a creative player and someone who hits holes/gaps are different? Wow, I think you got yourself confused there.

Sounds like a creative fullback to me, who has a good running game.

  17. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

How many times have you been around this circle?

  18. stupersteve03 SJ Cambridge

Always did. Not my fault you lack skills in Comprehension.

I said, (i'd slow it down if I could)

A creative fullback creates holes. (whether they go through it themselves, or someone else does is irrelevant)

A running fullback (sorry if I have skipped too far ahead) runs through holes others have created.

Nah sounds to me like they did nothing except look for a gap. Unless eye sight has now become creative.

btw I ignored the first part of your reply because it was crap, ftr.

edit: nah I will answer the first part. you said "lets make a list of ways to make a gap" not "lets make a list of ways a player can be creative" you ignoreing these different ways of making gaps shows me you would make a really crap footballer tbh. becuase they are all Important football skills used to create gaps, and hence scoring opportunities.

To many times to count, but it seems consrtuctive, and It boosts my poust count all In one. And to be honest, whether this is the whole intention of the exercise or not, I am kinda irritated by the clear lack off understanding of what I have been saying.
