    Mainly just a thread for Jew, but what's the plan? Are you aiming to introduce a 6th team as soon as we have enough players (which will probably be Season 5, IMO), or are you trying to push for each team to have a standalone reserve team first?

    Personally I think we should aim to have six teams first, firstly to eliminate the bye and secondly because I just think it's a much nicer number for a comp than five, and then look to consolidate reserve grade into a proper comp after that before introducing anymore teams.

    As long as the good players get mixed around a bit more. Like when the Pumas first came in, we had to get most of the newer members.

    Give us all a reggies side. I like the current finals system.

    Also the current reserves format is a joke. Even if you have to distrubute inactive players to a few clubs so they can make up their XVII initially. Its better than reserves vs Rejects.

    wow this looks awsome, expansion like the afl club, could do wonders for this site, in turn it could even take over onto another website eventually, it has tpotential thats for sure.
    Sounds like this sim could go down to even having more then one competition eventually.

    This is my current list of aims on this subject:

    1) To have two reggie teams that are filled with RLSim players only
    2) To have a 6th team
    3) To have every team with a Reggies team

    I reckon more teams... too many players in each team for reggies. You'd have 34 players at each club. Squad sizes of 25 with the rejects games that go on atm imo.

    Nah that's alright... if you had the right appeal then you would've got players. Just Pumas can't recruit for shit in any game. Bar this season :ninja:

    Teams should deffo join up with another and have a reggies team between them. 6 firsts teams and three reggies teams equals 153 players. We'd struggle to get any more imo.

    Yeah, that's the thing, you need so many players for a league game.

    Of course there's always the option to make people who are named on the bench in first grade eligible for reserve grade, or even disabling fitness in reserve grade and just having 13 and 13 for those games. Kind of unrealistic though and the first one could be exploited by dickheads (Benny :ph34r:) deliberately naming someone who is going to play 65 minutes on the bench so he could carve in reggies.

    Yeah something like this. There are currently 159 players in the DB. A shitload are inactive though.

    Nah they genuinely were screwed over. They weren't actually allowed to recruit at first - they were just assigned new blokes and players who weren't getting a go at other teams. Then after they'd assembled their squad, we introduced postcount weighting and they were ****ed.

    With the new sim alot of people have started posting alot more, but the innactive ones I cant see becoming active again. We need to recruit more league followers to the site as a whole. RLeague to be raided.

    Do it IMO. The more opportunities to play at teams will fill the reserves slowly and weed out the inactives.

    Time to do some awesome HM recruiting it seems. ;)
