Lowrie gonna play the final 9 minutes again? Hook you dumb cunt.

2 of my favourite teams to watch. Can't wait for Godges to dominate

  4. Old Mate M Perry

Brisbane have arguably the greatest 1,7,9 to have ever play the game, they'll go all the way.

If he begins to have a shocker at the back again I hope Griffin swaps him with Barba.

  6. Julian BJ Taylor

Have a feeling Cowboys will shit the bed here, Broncos by 12.

If we can limit Matt Scott's go forward......the Cowboys become a different side. Thurston in turn naturally suffers as well.

Depending on how Brisbane turn up to play and the right bounce of the ball, I think we're in with a real chance of an upset.

    Brisbane 8+

Cowboys by 7. Always tend to be close derby games.

Well, hopefully if we took anything from the last round, it's that Hodges can't be fullback in defence.

I just hope it doesn't mean he can't be fullback in attack either though.

    It's catching on.

Apparently Hoffman trained today. If he goes to left centre, Oates to bench and Lowrie to retirement, we are a chance.

If Hoffman goes to fullback, we lose by 20.

  11. Alec AD Funkotron

    Hoffman fullback in defence

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Oates is centre apparently.

  13. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

He has been named there. He won't play there if Hoffman is fit.

  14. Mr Fourex MR Fourex

I've read elsewhere that the training run consisted of only a few minutes before heading back into the sheds for treatment.

It seems unlikely at this stage that he'll play.

  15. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Hodges said: ā€œIā€™d love to stay at fullback, it gives me more freedom than the centres. But it all depends on what Hoffman does - if he comes back I will obviously go back to the centres.ā€

  16. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Shouldn't be fucking obvious.

  17. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Courier was saying Kahu was coming in to play centre and Lowrie will drop off.

  18. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Anything that gets Lowrie out of the side is positive.

  19. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

*Out of a Griffin coached side.

Lowrie would be fine in our side if he wasn't used in some bullshit attempt at an impact role. It just makes no sense. Considering this season we have quite often conceded 1-2 tries within the 1st 10 minutes; playing a defensive player like him in that period would actually be a smart thing to do. Which is clearly beyond Hook.

  20. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

What player would you bench? Thaiday, Parker or McGuire?
