Has dota gotten any better? I stopped playing the patch before Valve implemented the scan feature. I used to play dota almost every day but now I don't even want to play. I just found the meta extremely stale. I'd be willing to give it a go again if it's better than it used to be.
I guess? Lots of different stuff and a lot of the most OP picks are shit pubs hate anyway (Beastmaster, supporting as riki, Phoenix) so you don't see them that much.
Smurfing in pro games doesn't really mean a whole lot since everyone's at a similar level. The team in question is basically the team that won the european OQ for TI5. The ones I felt bad for was F5 (The second Europe OQ qualifiers who basically lost to a 4k stack due to ddos in the first qualfier) The real idiots are the ones that expected teams like Secret or EG to get cheesed, pre ro32 it's impossible for them to lose and even then they'd be at least 90-10 vs nearly every team.
