  10. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Please.

I admit the options are pretty slim this year, but there's no way Graham was the best of them. The cunt was still all over the place under the high ball, with grubbers, and in defence. He just happens to be playing on the end of the highest point scoring backline in the comp. If Winterstein had played wing all year instead of filling in for Tate, I wouldn't even call Graham the best Cowboys winger this year.

On what grounds is he the best winger this year? Or are you just stirring?

Anybody who mentions the try scoring is discredited.

Some of this schoolboy shit ought to bring into question your very place in FG and yet there were people talking this cunt up for the QLD side ahead of Tate earlier in the year. It's like on Rleague when Graham would do a Justin Hodges in Origin every second week and nobody seemed to care. I have literally sat and watched Ashley Graham make 4 errors in one night, the last of which came with 2 minutes to go, on his own line which then resulted in the opposition (Parramatta) scoring to win the game, and the commentators said afterwards that he played well that night. It's like being in the fucking twilight zone.

Just in case you're wondering that's the 4th time he's dropped the ball in the first 30 minutes of the game. And he made 4 errors in the first half alone.

Just think how many tries he'd have if he could actually catch.

And that makes the first three Cowboys errors all from Graham.

The only reason anyone is even mentioning his name is because of the number of tries. And using tries to show how good a winger has been is like using number of goals to show how good a goal kicker you are (and even that analogy is generous). It is primarily dependent on how many opportunities you have. Don't get me wrong, Graham has definitely improved this year. He still drops the ball more than any other Cowboys player bar Thurston and Bowen but he's definitely dropping it less. He's still, however, making the same brain explosion plays and trivial schoolboy errors, and the same technically lacking plays he always has.

I'll be surprised if Thurston wins an award since the Cowboys are boycotting it.

  18. Alec AD Funkotron

What a prestigious award decided by Laurie Daley, Andrew Johns, Wally Lewis an co.

  19. Howsie DP Howell

Yep 21 tries, hard to go past him I reckon.

  20. Alex AJ O'Driscoll

The respective position awards are decided by Dally M points right?
