I mean't defending, whoops! Even though completion is a stat for the attacking team. Good defending teams will cause errors to the attacking side, such as dropped and loose balls etc.

The Cowboys completed 92% tonight. That is phenomenal no matter what side you're playing. 92% over 80 minutes is nearly unheard of. They really should've won by a lot more so it's not as if the Sharks defence was woefully, diabolicly bad otherwise they would've conceded more.

Agreed. When Gardner left, there was no spark left within the Sharks players. With Gardner and Kelly the Sharks would have ran away with a win.
