Over the years I've noticed particular players get massive wraps on them and it becomes the cool thing to always talk about how much better they'd be than 'x' and how 'y' should sign them asap. Feel free to add suggestions as I've got a list in my head of about half a team.

    1. David Milne
    2. Adam Mogg
    3. Joel Reddy

    5. Denan Kemp

    1. David Milne

Milne amassed 50 games over 7 years at Canberra and never really cemented a regular spot in their 17. Although handy his last few appearances for the Green machine left quite a bit to be desired. He's only 27 and is now playing his trade up north for the Mackay Cutters.

    Key stats:
    23 tries in 50 appearances
Raiders 2005 Rookie of the year

    Main Offenders:

Cribbage & Julian: At one point or another these two suggested Milne be taken on tour with the Australian side as cover in case Karmichael Hunt and Billy Slater were injured

  3. Cribbage RG Cribb

Easts really should have signed Milne.

  4. Cribbage RG Cribb

Phil Graham and Josh Lewis are other obvious ones from the Cribbage-Julian basket.

  5. Hunter AD Hunt

    3/4. Luke Lewis

  6. Cribbage RG Cribb

I'm probably going to be behind most of these. I instigate most of the groupthink here I think. HGM tries with cunts like Todd Ryan and Gary Warburton but no-one pays any attention.

Luke Walsh to get a mention. :(

    2. Adam Mogg
Adam Mogg was a sluggish/slightly retarded looking centre/winger who shot to prominence in '06 when picked on the wing for a spare parts Queensland back line. Moggy spent 5 years with the Redcliffe Dolphins before suffering through a brief stint at Parra and eventually settling down with the Green machine in the nations capital

    Key stats:
3 tries in 2 origin games
40 tries in 105 NRL appearances
    QLD cup premiership
    4 years in Super League

    Main Offenders:

Maroon Faithful: My first ever MF experience was years ago over on rleague forums in a thread about whether Inglis would go on to eclipse Meninga as Queenslands most damaging outside back. MF said given Meninga's constant arm injuries and Inglis fluctuating weight that he'd give the edge to Adam Mogg as far as the title of 'Best Queensland outside back of all time' was concerned.

  8. Jazz NC Smith

Thumbs up for Mogg. This is going to be an intimidating line-up.

    3. Joel Reddy
Joel Reddy started his career as a complete and utter gumby outwide for Parramatta who had an unmistakeable ability to make the wrong decision every single time the ball got within 10m of him. He had a famous name and the same haircut as Nathan Hindmarsh.

It was in 2006 that he turned it all around and pretty much single handedly won Parramatta a reserve grade premiership playing 5/8th that the praise began to shower over him. Since then he's been one of the unluckiest footballers in the history of rugby league. Size, vision, strength, a handy offload and the defense of 10 Dallas Johnsons should have seen him play 10 games for NSW now. Unfortunately he has been terribly miss managed and spent a lot of time in reserve grade

    Key stats:
41 tries in 104 FG sppearances
robbed of first grade time by countless coaches
    Reserve grade premiership
    1 city appearances
    famous dad
    supreme athleticism

    Main Offenders:
Sultan Pepper: Probably Reddy's biggest fan, one only has to read the majority of this write up to see his supreme bias.

Didn't someone have a Luke Capewell fetish?

  11. Alec AD Funkotron

Sounds like something S(&)M would do.

  12. Benny BS Read

    Thread lacks Josh Lewis

    7. Brad Davis
Brad Davis is the Tweed Heads Seagulls leading point scorer of all time. He had a brief stint with titans in first grade before slinking back to the Qcup to spend his days bamboozling Jason Bugerelli's and such and giving the illusion of being Andrew Johns but with a shoebox instead of a head.

    Key stats:
6 games for Gold Coast Titans in 2008
Top point scorer for Tweed of all time
    QLD cup premiership winner

    Main Offenders:

IIRC Tart, Cribb, (SM): The name Brad Davis tends to pop up every so often in Titan talks and with pretty good reason when you consider Rankin got an extended shot in the halves. I'm pretty sure SM has thrown his name around before but we all know he doesn't actually know what he looks like/who he is.

  15. Cribbage RG Cribb

Lots of blokes could've been named at halfback in this side tbh; Davis a good choice though.

    Lance Hohaia pre stardom?

  17. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

Yeah Reynolds would've got the nod had it been based on your thoughts only.

  18. Alec AD Funkotron

There are so many players named Reynolds, I have no idea who you mean.

I remember there was one Flack rated as godly tho.

  19. Cribbage RG Cribb

Brad Davis, Ben Reynolds, Mathew Head, Shane Perry, Luke Branighan, Luke Walsh, Josh Lewis.. the list of potential halves is endless.

Brad Davis had more than just me though - Tart and Benny were also big fans.

Ben Rogers gets a lot more love on CricSim than he gets on any other website as well but coaches keep agreeing with CricSim and saying fuck ya to the rest of the internet by signing/playing him so he'd be a questionable inclusion I guess.
