The next man to join Robert Cribb into the Hall of Fame was another easy choice. I am sure that you will all agree he is certainly deserving of the honour. Jack Dempsey Without a shadow of a doubt Jack Dempsey is the greatest wicket-keeper batsman in CricSim history. There have been pretenders to his throne that have come and gone and may have been better over short periods of time than him but none of them can come close to matching Dempsey's longevity. So strong a player he is that he has never had to grace a Second Class match in his entire career and has been one of the fortunate few to represent CricSim in every single Test match they have played. At the end of Season 11 he had amassed 18330 runs at an average of 39.68, including 101 half-centuries and 34 centuries. If you ignore the days he has spent in the field having to concentrate ball after ball on wicket-keeping they are impressive statistics anyway. When you then factor in his wicket-keeping, they are unrivaled. The majority of those runs are shared between donning the shirt of the blues, both for New South Wales and the Cyclones. Dempsey’s off-field contribution to the Cyclones is another shining light in his career. One of the most loved and admired Cyclones players, he saw many comings and goings during his time. He held many roles, if not every role, within the Cyclones organisation over his time there. Some of the leading players in the CricSim world owe some thanks to Dempsey for guiding them through the early parts of their career as he did for many. He now plys his trade at the Sticky Wickets after a brief spell at the Allstars, and has begun to be still finding his feet away from the Cyclones. But none can argue his impact upon CricSim.
Hughesy not because he quit the forum either, but because Hughesy going there obv just confirms shittiness in general.
All the greats of the clones seem to slowly left one by one. Is there only gonzo and toolio there now?
