CPL Football: Rules and Explanation

CPL Football is a fantasy team management simulator in which members draft their own sides and play out a league season against each other. All matches will be simulated using Football Manager 08. The draft will require managers to select a 25-man squad in the draft, with the only restriction being that they have to be in the original game database. The competition itself will be run to no schedule, however it is recommended that managers are available to submit teamsheets twice weekly, as one non-submission could delay an entire round. There will also be a small media requirement that will generally revolve around each game, although there is potential for managers to start a “war of words†with one another. These media responses will affect the morale and mindset of your players, so choose your words wisely.

That’s just a quick overview, but more details will be released as I finish the competition testing.

I'd consider it if I got 16/18. But I'd also have to be able to find a suitable league with that number of teams in the sim for me to replace. I actually reckon that in the long run two divisions of ten would be perfect.

 

Nah, there'd probably be a first division draft followed by a second division draft. A bit irrelevant though, I don't think there'd be 20 active, knowledgeable and interested people.
