Im not criticising the pick as a whole, hes the best at what he does in the world, I know if I was picking a team from scratch though id rather get people who can win a match or save a match, I don't think Xavi can do that as well as a lot of people available. He can keep a match out of reach of the other team for sure and keep attacks flowing sure Just me though
Oh ye im not having a go at you personally for you're pick, if hes a favorite hes a favorite. Like theres people id have over Fab, but I already know that at that position of pick theres no one else he was going to pick because its Fab
I see him as a good starter pick for his ability to dictate the tempo and his adaptability. I do feel that you underestimate his adaptability from the post above but each to their own. His influence is incredible and Barca usually look lacklustre when he is closed down often and man marked the whole game. Against good oppositions of course. And of course his ability to relieve the pressure off his fellow midfielders is almost second to none. That's important when you can't construct a midfield full of world-class players.
What would you guys say if I tagged veri onto the end of the draft and redid the rounds 3 onwards? It'd eliminate the bye
Eh, I don't think u need to redo the rounds. Just stick him at the end of the 1st, start of the 2nd and then just randomise like 1-18 or whatever and which ever number comes up first on the list is the number he is for a pair of rounds. So randomise 1-18, you get 4 as the number. He picks 4th in the 3rd round and 15th in the 4th. Then randomise again, you get 12, he slots in there etc etc.
Not sure you had to put in that your pick came down to any sort of bias there mouse I mean realistically if you wanted a striker, with everyone like Aguero, Zlatan, Falcao, Messi, Ronaldo and VP all gone After taking them out of it, are there any better strikers in world football at the moment than Suarez Apart from Heskey obviously
Probably all true, but I would've picked up regardless of my position other than Messi and Ronaldo...so that's what I was on about with bias. Just worked out well that he is the best striker left.
If you are going to go offline for awhile and you are 1 or 2 picks away PLEASE JUST PM ME OR ANYBODY FOR THAT FACT the 24hours is just there as the rule, you dont actually have to be online to make your pick....
