ok i need someone to explain this rule to me, McCullough just got pinned for a error in the play the ball because the ball hi his foot before he picked it up, now if he had of kicked it off the ground and ran and jumped onto it, wouldn't it have been play on? so why was it a mistake for it to hit his foot and travel 30 center meters before he picked it up? not saying the call was wrong but i just don't get the rule.
